Weathercoat Silicon

Product description

Weather-coat silicone is incorporated with silicone technology for both water and dust repulsion. A copolymer based emulsion paint, it gives maximum protection on interior and exterior surfaces and produces a high opacity smooth matt finish without leaving brush marks.

  • Uses:  Can be used on all new and previously painted surfaces e.g. plaster, concrete, building boards etc.
  • Surface preparation: New walls Surfaces must be clean, dry and free of loose materials.
  • Application: Apply 3 coats of weather-coat thinning down the first coat to allow maximum penetration. Allow 4 hours between coats. Chalky/powder or flaky substance Using stiff fiber or nylon brushes remove all loose and friable materials. When the surface is clean, apply one liberal coat of clear seal followed by 2 coats of weather-coat. Allow 4 hours in between. Finish Low sheen.
  • Application: By brush, spray gun or roller.
  • Thinning and mixing: Thin with tap water to the right consistency.
  • Equipment cleaning: Equipment should be cleaned immediately after use with water.
  • Drying time: 4 hours.
  • Color range: Brilliant white and pastel shades.
  • Spreading capacit:y 10-12m2 per litre at 40 microns DFT.
  • Pack sizes: 4 litre, 20 litres.

Super Gloss

Product description

It is manufactured from high quality light fast pigments dispersed in an alkyd medium. It is formulated to provide maximum durability with high gloss level and excellent gloss retention. It is ideal for use on new and previously painted wood, metal, brick, stone etc. It offers excellent opacity, protection and flexibility.

  • Use: Suitable for both interior and exterior surfaces and to be applied over appropriate primer and undercoat.
  • Surface preparation: Surface must be clean, dry and sound. All loose and flaking paints must be removed. On new wood; pink wood primer, on steel; zinc chromate primer. On galvanized steel; zinc and alloy metals, only zinc phosphate primer. If undercoat is desired use hi-opacity undercoat. Finish off with 2 coats of trade gloss. Finish Full-gloss. Application:  Brush, roller or spray.
  • Thinning and mixing: Thin with white spirit.
  • Equipment cleaning: Equipment should be cleaned immediately after use with white spirit.
  • Drying time: Allow a minimum of 12 hours drying between coats.
  • Color range: Wide range of colors.
  • Spreading capacity: 10-13m2 per litre.
  • Pack sizes: 1 litre, 4 litres and 20 litres.

Eggshell Enamel

Product description

Semi-gloss alkyd based finish designed for use on walls and ceilings. It provides a washable surface and is ideal for areas of high traffic and any areas where exceptional resistance to wear is required.

  • Use: It can be applied on suitably primed woodwork and metal to provide a subtle sheen finish.
  • Surface preparation: New walls Any loose material, grease, dirt should be completely removed before applying suitable primer and undercoat. Then apply 2 coats of eggshell enamel. Previously painted Remove all flaky materials by scrapping and wire brushing to a firm foundation. Clean the foundation and allow to dry thoroughly. Seal the surface with 1-2 liberal coats of penetrating primer and allow to dry overnight. Apply 2-3 coats of eggshell for unsound surfaces and 2 coats of eggshell enamel for previously painted sound surfaces. Finish Semi-gloss.
  • Application: By brush, roller or spray.
  • Thinning and mixing: Thin with white spirit for brush or roller application.
  • Equipment cleaning: Equipment should be cleaned immediately after use with white spirit.
  • Drying time: Recoatable in 16 hours.
  • Color range: White and pastel colors.
  • Spreading capacit:y 13-15m2 per litre when applied on a primed or painted smooth surfaces.

 Trade Gloss Enamel

Product description

It is a highly durable synthetic enamel paint which is easy to apply.

  • Uses:  in most painting jobs on wood, plaster and metal. For indoors and outdoors it produces a gloss finish.
  • Surface preparation: On new wood; pink wood primer, on steel; zinc chromate primer. On galvanized steel; zinc and alloy metals, only zinc phosphate primer. If undercoat is desired use hi-opacity undercoat. Finish off with 2 coats of trade gloss. Finish Semi-gloss.
  • Application: Brush, roller or spray.
  • Thinning and mixing: Thin with white spirit.
  • Equipment cleaning: Equipment should be cleaned immediately after use with white spirit.
  • Drying time: Dries in 4-6 hours. Recoatable in 16 hours.
  • Color range: Black and green.
  • Spreading capacity: 11-15m2 per litre at 30/40 microns.
  • Pack sizes: 1 litres, 4 litres and 20 litres.

 Matt Finish/Black board paint

Product description

It is an oil based paint designed for use on school boards and wrought iron work.

  • Uses: It can be used on surfaces where a dense matt finish is required. Has excellent opacity and provides good grip for chalk. Finish Matt.
  • Application: By brush, spray or roller.
  • Thinning and mixing: Thin with white spirit to the right consistency.
  • Equipment cleaning: Equipment should be cleaned immediately after use with white spirit.
  • Drying time: Recoatable in 16 hours.
  • Color range: Black and green.
  • Spreading capacity: 13-15m2 per litre when applied on smooth non porous surfaces.
  • Pack sizes: 1 litre, 4 litres and 20 litres. 

Roof Paint

Product description

A superior roof finish especially formulated for tropical use on large, metal roof surfaces. Will withstand contraction and expansion of the substrate in severe and changing climatic conditions.

  • Use: Recommended for use over the appropriate primer on galvanized iron sheets and exposed steel work. Can also be applied to suitably prepared and primed woodwork.
  • Surface preparation: Apply one coat of primer and 2 coats of roof paint on new surfaces. For previously painted surfaces apply 1 or 2 coats of primer and 2 coats of roof paint.
  • Finish: Semi-gloss.
  • Application: By brush or spray.
  • Thinning and mixing: Thin with white spirit for brush or roller application.
  • Equipment cleanin:g Equipment should be cleaned immediately after use with white spirit.
  • Drying time: Recoatable in 16 hours.

Floor Paint

Product description

 It is formulated for the decoration and protection of interior concrete floors. Based on a special, tough and flexible resin and pigmented with oxide pigments.

  • Use: Provides excellent adhesion to concrete floors, high opacity, good abrasion and scrub resistance.
  • Surface preparation: New or old concretes floors must be clean and dry. Smooth surfaces should be etched with 5-10% solution of hydrochloric acid in water, to form a key. Washed with water to remove all traces of acid and allowed to dry thoroughly.
  • Finish: Gloss.
  • Application: By brush or spray.
  • Thinning and mixing: Thin with white spirit.
  • Equipment cleaning: White spirit.
  • Drying time: Touch dry in 4 hours, recoatable in 16 hours.
  • Color range: Red oxide, grey oxide and green.
  • Spreading capacity: 10-14m2 per litre.
  • Pack sizes: 1 litres, 4 litres and 20 litres.
